We're partnering with one of the UK's fastest-growing independent commercial insurance brokers to recruit an experienced Commercial Account Executive who wants to be part of something genuinely exciting.

The Opportunity

You'll inherit an established portfolio of commercial clients while having the autonomy to further develop existing relationships and generate new business.

The client base is incredibly diverse, ranging from SMEs through to complex commercial businesses with premiums exceeding £500,000 GWP, providing genuine variety and exposure across a broad range of industries and risks.

This isn't a traditional independent brokerage. The business has ambitious growth plans over the next three years and is investing heavily in its people as it continues to expand. As the company grows, so will the opportunities available, with future leadership and management positions expected to become available for those who want to progress their careers.

The team prides itself on delivering an exceptional level of client service and regularly wins clients away from much larger corporate brokers through its personal, relationship-led approach. They're looking for someone who is commercially minded, ambitious and genuinely enjoys helping clients succeed.

The Role

As a Commercial Account Executive you'll be responsible for:

Managing and developing an established portfolio of commercial clients.
Building trusted, long-term relationships with business owners and key decision-makers.
Identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts and win new business.
Negotiating competitive terms with insurers.
Providing strategic insurance advice tailored to each client's needs.
Attending client meetings and managing your own diary.
Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an outstanding client experience.
Contributing to the continued growth and success of the business.

About You

We're keen to speak with experienced Commercial Account Executives who have:

A strong background within commercial insurance broking.
Experience managing their own portfolio of commercial clients.
Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
A commercial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for growth.
The confidence to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
A proactive, ambitious and client-focused approach.
A full UK driving licence.

Candidates with an existing client following or the ability to transfer business would be of particular interest, although this isn't essential for the right individual.
