Buying Admin Assistant (Homes) - 12 month FTC

Hybrid flexibility to work 2 days in the office

We have an excellent opportunity for a Buying Administration Assistant to join our Buying & Merchandising Team. In this role you will assist the Buyer and Assistant Buyer in all aspects of administration within the Homes and Homes Textiles Department.

Now is a fantastic time to join our Buying and Merchandising Team as we embark on an ambitious and exciting growth journey.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Maintain accurate product information across internal systems, ensuring timely product creation, loading and ongoing data management.
Support the development and selection of product ranges, identifying opportunities that meet customer needs and commercial objectives.
Coordinate samples for range reviews, photography, website content and supplier discussions.
Support online trading activity by ensuring product information, imagery, attributes and taxonomy are accurately displayed across the website.
Use Excel to manage trackers, range plans, pricing information and reporting, ensuring a high level of data accuracy.
Conduct competitor analysis, price benchmarking and comp shops to identify market opportunities and maintain competitive positioning.
Analyse product performance, sales trends, customer demand and website reporting, providing actionable insights to support trading decisions and improve conversion.
Monitor promotional and carry-forward pricing, ensuring accuracy and commercial competitiveness.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and cross-functional teams, including Merchandising, QA and eCommerce.

ABOUT YOU

Able to commute to Bradford city centre.
Attend supplier visits.
Strong commercial awareness with an interest in Homes and Home Textiles.
Excellent Excel and data analysis skills.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience working with product management, marketplace or eCommerce platforms is desirable.
Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Organised, proactive and able to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.
