Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Officer to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for an HR professional who is passionate about people, compliance, and creating a positive workplace culture.

Responsibilities

Manage a range of employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, and performance matters, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies and UK employment legislation.
Provide proactive day-to-day HR advice and guidance to managers on employee relations, performance management, policy interpretation, and HR best practices.
Ensure compliance with UK employment law and company policies, keeping abreast of legislative changes and supporting managers in implementing best practice.
Review, maintain, and update HR policies, procedures, and employee documentation to ensure legal compliance and operational effectiveness.
Support the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, induction, and retention initiatives to attract and retain high-performing employees.
Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
Administer employee leave, attendance, and HR information systems.
Assist with performance management, training, and employee development initiatives.
Provide guidance to employees on HR policies and procedures.
Support employee relations by addressing routine HR enquiries and assisting with workplace issues.

What We're Looking For

Experience in an HR Officer, HR Advisor, or similar HR role.
Good knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
Experience handling employee relations cases.
Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to build positive relationships and support managers.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems.
CIPD Level 3 or 5 (or working towards) is desirable.

Pay: From £28,000.00 per year
