Sales Development Representative (SDR) – Media & Advertising
Location: London – Canary wharf – In-office 5 days a week.

JWE Media is an independent media planning and buying agency based in the heart of London. We specialise in delivering strategic advertising campaigns across TV, Digital, Out of Home (OOH), Radio, Audio, Print, Social and Performance channels for brands across the UK and internationally.

Working across sectors including Food & Drink, Travel, Finance, Fashion, Gambling, Health & Beauty, and Home & Garden, we help brands grow through intelligent media planning, buying, and creative commercial thinking.

As the agency continues to expand, we are looking for ambitious individuals to join our commercial team and help drive new business growth across multiple industries.

The Role
We are looking for a motivated and commercially minded Sales Development Representative (SDR) to support JWE Media’s new business activity.

This role is focused on identifying potential brand opportunities, researching target businesses, engaging with key decision-makers, and generating qualified meetings for our Account Management and Commercial teams.

You will be the first point of contact for many prospective clients, helping introduce JWE Media’s services and opening conversations that lead to long-term commercial partnerships.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career within media sales, advertising, or business development. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to progress into more senior sales and commercial roles within the agency over time.

Key Responsibilities

Research and identify prospective brands and businesses across multiple sectors.
Conduct outbound cold calling, email outreach and LinkedIn prospecting to generate new business opportunities.
Build relationships with marketing teams, brand managers and decision-makers.
Introduce JWE Media’s advertising and media services to prospective clients.
Qualify leads and arrange meetings for senior Account Managers and Commercial Directors.
Work closely with internal teams to develop relevant outreach strategies and sector-specific opportunities.
Maintain accurate records of all outreach activity and lead progression within CRM systems.
Consistently build and manage a pipeline of new business opportunities.
Stay informed on industry trends, advertising developments and competitor activity.

Preferred Experience

Previous experience in sales, lead generation, telemarketing, recruitment, customer service or client-facing roles is beneficial but not essential.
Experience using CRM systems such as HubSpot is advantageous.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
Ability to confidently engage with senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
