About the company

Scott FPS Ltd is a well-established family run business based in South Wales with over 30 years’ experience in the fire industry. As a BAFE accredited company we strive on delivering the best quality workmanship for our valued customers. We are currently seeking a Route Planner to join our team based at our office in Barry. Working within a small team, as Route Planner you will have primary responsibility for scheduling work and ensuring the staff are utilised effectively throughout the day.

Responsibilities will include:

Route and schedule daily workload for engineers providing accurate routing information.
Act as an initial point of contact for engineers.
Maintain and develop excellent client relationships and ensure high level of service is delivered.
Liaising with customers and colleagues to ensure the operation runs smoothly and cost-effectively
Ensure that all current legislation and regulations are adhered to.
Weekly stock take

Essential experience:

Proven knowledge of geographical routes of South Wales and South West.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate across all levels, in a professional and polite manner.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Excellent problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and as a team.
Attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis.
Positive attitude, reliable and flexible.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
IT literate and proficient in using software to route and schedule work.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Eligible to work in the UK.
