- Translating engineering designs and technical information into practical site delivery solutions.
- Managing subcontractors, suppliers and site teams to ensure works are completed safely and to programme.
- Leading project meetings, reviewing progress and maintaining accurate project documentation.
- Writing, reviewing and approving RAMS and ensuring compliance with safe systems of work.
- Championing a strong health, safety and environmental culture, with a relentless focus on Zero Harm.
- Monitoring progress, identifying risks and implementing effective mitigation measures.
- Supporting project controls, resource planning and short-interval planning activities.
- Ensuring quality standards, audits and assurance activities are completed and acted upon.
- Managing plant, materials and resource requirements to support successful delivery.
- Supporting commercial performance through change management, cost control and efficient resource utilisation.
- Developing and mentoring junior engineers and supporting the wider project team.
Who we're looking for
We're interested in hearing from organised and proactive engineers who thrive in a project environment and enjoy working closely with operational and commercial teams to deliver complex infrastructure projects.
You'll ideally have:

- Experience delivering HV or power network projects, ideally within substation or distribution environments.
- A strong understanding of project delivery, construction methodologies and engineering principles.
- Experience implementing safe systems of work and managing health and safety responsibilities on site.
- The ability to identify, manage and mitigate project risks.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams.
- A solutions-focused approach to problem solving and decision making.
