Job description

We are CUPP; an independent bubble tea company, founded in Bristol. We see ourselves as bubble tea pioneers, striving to refine every element of the famous Taiwanese drink. To make it the freshest, healthiest and tastiest bubble tea in the UK!

We now have stores nationwide and are looking for baristas to join our fabulous team!

Using fresh ingredients, including our own fruit purees, brown sugar syrups (no fructose here) along with fresh organic milk, great milk alternatives and loose leaf tea, we’re refining the way bubble tea should be made. All while providing the best customer service and product knowledge to our lovely customers. Whether you’re a bubble tea connoisseur or new to the whole concept, we are certain we can help find the perfect bubble tea for you..

Job Description:

We are looking for a Bubble Tea Barista to join our amazing CUPP x Moomin team and support us in the daily running of our store in Park Row. This position will cover all aspects of the Bubble Tea Barista position described below as well as being a brand ambassador for CUPP. A love for all things Moomin is an added bonus!

Bubble Tea Barista:

Provide great service and product knowledge to our customers.
Serve consistently perfect fresh bubble teas.
Feel confident in a fast paced working environment.
Keep a clean and organised working area throughout the day
Opening and closing the store independently
Ensuring products are delivered to a high standard
Ensuring store is clean and tidy at all times

To join us you will:

Be a passionate, energetic hospitality professional who cares greatly about fantastic customer service and a great team environment.
Previous work experience in the industry not essential, however experience proving the ability to provide great customer service, adhere to high company standards and health and safety practices is a big bonus!
Be flexible to work a range of hours, including weekdays and weekends
Be able to work across all Bristol stores
Able to stay with the company on a long term bases
Be confident in working shifts on your own

We will:

Provide full training, giving you all the tools and knowledge needed.
Offer free bubble teas on shift and 50% discounts off shift, in all our stores.
Provide nice working hours and shift patterns to all management and team members.

Hospitality experience is preferred but isn't essential; a fantastic, positive attitude and confidence in your ability to fulfil the role will get you just as far.

We have a range of hours available, but all staff are expected to work on weekends.
