Full job description

RH Fibreboard Containers are looking for a reliable and motivated Production Operator to join our team in Longwell Green.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a growing packaging manufacturing business, operating an automated Eterna die press and producing high-quality corrugated products for a wide range of customers.

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday: 7:45am to 4:30pm
Friday: 7:45am to 12:15pm

About the Role

As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for safely setting up and operating an automated sheet-fed Eterna die press, ensuring products are manufactured to the highest quality standards while meeting production targets.

Key responsibilities include:

Setting up and operating the automated Eterna die press
Monitoring machine performance, production output and product quality
Carrying out quality checks and identifying defects or machine issues
Completing production records and job paperwork accurately
Following standard operating procedures and safe working practices
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work area
Working closely with colleagues to achieve production targets and customer deadlines

About You

We are looking for someone who:

Is reliable, punctual and safety conscious
Has strong attention to detail and takes pride in producing quality work
Can work effectively as part of a small team
Is confident taking ownership of machine performance and output
Has previous machine operating, manufacturing, die press or corrugated packaging experience (desirable but not essential)
