THIS ROLE STARTS end of JUNE 2026.

Interviews/trial shifts commencing Week of 08/06/2026

Join our energetic team as our in house cook, for our cosy café/bar nestled within the vibrant atmosphere of Workout Harbourside gym on Welshback.

We're seeking an experienced and enthusiastic cook to bring their passion for food to our kitchen and help us whip up our delicious meals for our customers.

Your Responsibilities: Crafting mouth watering dishes to order and preparing tempting grab-and-go snacks for our display, ensuring every bite is bursting with flavour.

Following recipes with care and efficiency to ensure timely meal preparation.

Keeping our kitchen spotless and well-organised, maintaining a workspace that reflects our dedication to quality.

Ensuring all food is handled and stored safely, prioritising the health and happiness of our customers.

Completing daily paperwork and assisting with deliveries and stock checks to keep our kitchen running smoothly.

Participating in weekly and monthly deep cleans to maintain a sparkling kitchen environment.

What You Bring: Prior experience in a kitchen environment is ESSENTIAL, ensuring you're ready to hit the ground running. Flexibility to adapt to the dynamic nature of our café.

More info: Our brunch menu currently runs from 8am-3pm Tuesday-Friday.

Saturday and Sundays 10am-3pm

We also hold private events which sometimes require catering such as buffets.

We are looking for someone to work mostly daytime shifts, full time with flexibility to work the occasional evening (event depending).

Availability to work EVERY SUNDAY daytime 9-6pm is a must.

The rota will be done 2 weeks in advance

Please note this job is lone working, so you must be confident in a kitchen environment.
