THE CANDIDATE MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWINGS:

-VALID CPCS OR NPORS CARD FOR DRIVING TELEHANDLER OF ALL SIZES WITH GOOD EXPERIENCE.

- RIGHT TO WORK IN UK REQUIRED.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and safety-conscious Telehandler Operator to join our construction team. In this vital role, you will operate a telescopic handler—commonly known as a telehandler—to efficiently move, lift, and position materials across various job sites. Your expertise will ensure smooth workflow, uphold safety standards, and contribute to the successful completion of projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your mechanical knowledge and driving skills while working in a fast-paced environment that values precision and teamwork.

Responsibilities

Operate telehandlers safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport materials around the construction site
Conduct daily inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs
Assist with the setup and positioning of materials for construction tasks, including heavy loads requiring precise placement
Coordinate with team members to prioritize tasks and ensure timely delivery of materials to designated areas
Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage, inspections, and material movements
Follow all safety protocols and site regulations to prevent accidents or injuries
Support other machinery operations such as excavators when needed, demonstrating mechanical knowledge and versatility

Skills

Proven experience operating telehandlers in a construction or industrial setting
Valid commercial driver’s license with relevant endorsements for operating heavy equipment
Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues and perform routine maintenance
Familiarity with excavators and other heavy machinery enhances versatility on site
Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and supervisors
Ability to follow detailed safety procedures diligently
Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift, and maneuver for extended periods in various weather conditions
