Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaning Operative to join our dynamic cleaning team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial premises. Your proactive approach will ensure that work environments are safe, welcoming, and spotless, contributing to a positive experience for clients and visitors alike. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for cleanliness and a strong work ethic to thrive in a fast-paced, rewarding environment. NHS cleaning experience desirable.

Shifts pattern:

Monday to Friday between 17:00pm and 21:30pm

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, hallways, restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas.
Use appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies to ensure effective sanitation and maintenance.
Follow health and safety guidelines rigorously to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with regulations.
Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet paper to maintain operational readiness.
Report any maintenance issues or damages discovered during cleaning to the supervisor promptly.
Maintain detailed logs of cleaning activities and completed tasks for accountability purposes.
Collaborate with team members to complete daily cleaning schedules efficiently and effectively.

Skills

Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment.
Excellent attention to detail with a focus on hygiene standards.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Good physical stamina to perform manual tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness standards.
