Full job description

Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our team. This role is pivotal in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests and ensuring their experience is enjoyable from the moment they arrive. As a member of the Front of House team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing reservations, and maintaining the overall presentation of the establishment.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a friendly and professional first impression.
Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimise guest flow.
Take orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen or bar staff promptly.
Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints with a positive attitude.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including dining spaces and reception.
Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely service delivery.
Assist in training new staff members as required, promoting a cohesive team environment.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a customer-facing role is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is key.
Excellent communication skills with a strong focus on customer service.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
