Full job description

We provide high quality sand, investment, and gravity die aluminium components to customers across the UK and around the globe. Our operations are supported by a state-of-the-art foundry designed for self-sufficiency, along with modern machining and powder coating facilities.

Purpose of the job:

To ensure that all sales and office administrative tasks are performed accurately and efficiently.

Main duties and responsibilities:

· Monitoring of phone and email systems to ensure customer queries are efficiently handled

· Provide regular updates to customer by phone, email or open order reports, ensuring that they are kept up to date of any changes in scheduling

· Loading of new customer enquiries into MRP system for sales teams’ attention

· Ensure sales orders are accurately entered onto the system with prompt and appropriate acknowledgement to the customer

· Ensure works order / job packs are created and released to production in a timely manner

· Works order scanning and record updating once production is complete

· Ad hoc office administration as necessary

Adherence to PACE Quality Management System

Person Specification

· Proactive approach to work.

· Forward thinking

· Accuracy with paperwork and records

· Familiar with office IT Systems and able to pick up new software efficiently

· Good at written and verbal communication, with both internal and external customers

· Effective time management

You will be required to adhere to health and safety rules and regulations within the company.
