YOUR ROLE

As a Weekend Warehouse Operative at our site in Barton under Needwood you will be part of a successful team who are committed to supporting a high-profile customer. This is a critical role within the operation and directly contributes towards the efficiency and effectiveness of the team and operation.

This a weekend shift position working Saturday & Sunday from 06.00 to 18.00 - 12 hour shifts. The salary is £20,879.42 - £15,899.52 per annum plus a 20% market rate supplement (£3,179.90) and also on average £1800 in supplements/bonuses depending on performance/attendance and manual handling equipment usage.

Mechanical Handling Equipment (MHE) available, with full training and support provided where required (not used in all areas).

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Unload vehicles, receipt and put away items
Pick orders, produce dispatch and carrier paperwork, and ensure it is logged onto the system where necessary
Load vehicles in accordance with delivery manifests
Liaise with Team Leaders to ensure work is allocated correctly
Maintain stock accuracy

There is no need for any previous warehouse experience. We are looking for:

A strong team player who can also work independently when needed
Confident communicating with colleagues and team leaders
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines and targets
Detail-focused, accurate, and committed to maintaining high standards
