About us

The Position

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources Officer to join our HR team and play a key role in delivering a high-quality, responsive HR service. In this fast-paced, varied role, you will work closely with all staff across the Group, offering advice on employee relations, policies and practices.

Key Responsibilities

Provide timely and professional HR advice and guidance to managers and employees on a wide range of employee relations matters.
Accurately record notes during meetings and prepare detailed formal HR documentation.
Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and initiatives.
Manage the end-to-end recruitment processes, including advertising, shortlisting, interviewing and onboarding activities.
Manage offboarding processes including exit interviews, final documentation, and ensuring a smooth, positive departure experience for leavers.
Provide probationary advice and guidance to managers and new hires.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
Administer and maintain HR systems and databases.
Manage and maintain the internal intranet site, ensuring content is accurate, accessible, and up to date.
Compile and distribute a quarterly internal newsletter, sharing updates, news, and employee engagement content.
Support HR Manager with employee relations cases, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and internal policies.
Contribute to HR reporting, analytics, and continuous improvement projects.
Carry out other general HR administrative duties.

Skills and experience

Proven experience in a generalist HR role, ideally within a fast-paced environment.
Proven experience in handling employee relations matters
CIPD Level 3 qualified essential
Proven knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels.
Excellent organisational and administrative skills with strong attention to detail.
High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
Ability to manage multiple priorities.
Proven experience in using HR systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
