Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and comfort for all visitors. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a professional hospitality environment, contributing to guest satisfaction and the overall reputation of our establishment. Prior hotel or janitorial experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Duties

Clean and sanitise guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies.
Ensure all public areas such as corridors, lobbies, and restrooms are kept tidy and presentable.
Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly.
Follow health and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Restock amenities such as toiletries, towels, and linen as required.
Assist with laundry duties when necessary to ensure timely availability of clean linen and towels.
Maintain a professional appearance and courteous attitude towards guests at all times.

Requirements

Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, hospitality, or janitorial services is advantageous but not mandatory.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, afternoons, or evenings as needed.
A positive attitude and excellent communication skills are essential for providing exceptional guest service.
