Job Title: Industrial Paint Sprayer
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Location: Barrow-in-Furness
Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Paint Sprayer with strong technical paint and coating knowledge to join our established blasting and coating team in Barrow-in-Furness.

This role requires a high level of workmanship and attention to detail, with work carried out to strict quality assurance and safety standards within a regulated industrial environment.

This position is suitable for:

An experienced industrial paint sprayer, or
A skilled automotive paint sprayer looking to transition into industrial coatings.

Key Responsibilities

Application of industrial coating systems to steel and metal components
Accurate mixing and preparation of paints in line with technical data sheets
Understanding and applying correct film builds and curing requirements
Working to detailed specifications and quality control procedures
Inspecting finished work to ensure compliance with high-quality standards
Maintaining strict housekeeping and health & safety standards

Essential Requirements

Proven paint spraying experience (industrial or automotive)
Strong knowledge of paint systems, mixing ratios, and application techniques
Ability to read and follow technical specifications and product data sheets
High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Strong awareness of health & safety procedures
Reliable, professional work ethic
Flexibility to work overtime as required

Desirable

ICATS certification
Experience with industrial coating systems and protective coatings
Forklift licence
