Are you…
- Qualified with a Bachelor's degree, HNC, BTEC or equivalent in Civil Engineering, Building, Construction or Structural Engineering
- Experienced in operating REVIT, Navisworks and AutoCAD software, producing civil engineering models and drawings compliant with UK Building Regulations and current European Standards
- Proficient in Autodesk Civil 3D and drainage design software such as Innovyze Info Drainage
- Knowledgeable in Building Information Modelling standard ISO19650 and Quality Management Systems
- Committed to Continuing Professional Development and sustainability in design
What will you be responsible for?
As a Building Civils Design / Senior Civil Engineering Technician, you'll be working within the Civil and Structural Engineering Team, supporting them in delivering coordinated civil engineering design solutions for major building developments. Your day to day will include:
- Producing and checking coordinated civil engineering and below ground drainage drawings, design models, schedules and specifications within a quality assurance environment
- Checking and coordinating civil engineering and below ground drainage design information with other technical disciplines
- Detailing flexible and rigid pavement designs for roads, car parks and hard standings
- Preparing specifications for civil engineering, drainage and building elements, working to sustainability and low carbon design targets
- Occasionally visiting sites to carry out surveys and inspections, and attending meetings at other offices
