About the team
Our Product and Engineering teams sit at the centre of students, employers, and education providers. Together, we design, build, and continuously improve digital products that power early careers recruitment, learning, and talent engagement—used by millions of students and thousands of organisations across the UK and beyond.
We operate in a highly collaborative environment where Product Managers and Product Engineers work closely together to shape, build, measure, and improve product experiences. Product Engineers are active contributors to product outcomes, combining strong engineering capability with product thinking, UX judgement, experimentation, and ownership.
About this role
As a Product Engineer, you will help shape and deliver product experiences across our early careers ecosystem. Working at the intersection of engineering, product, UX, and data, you will own initiatives from early concept through to launch, measurement, and optimisation; turning product strategy into experiences that resonate with Gen Z users.
You will be responsible for building and improving GTI's platforms, combining strong engineering capability with product thinking, UX intuition, behavioural analytics, experimentation, and AI-assisted development. Working closely with Product Managers, you will help improve engagement, conversion, usability, and overall product quality through continuous iteration and optimisation.
This role requires someone who combines engineering excellence with strong product judgement and a passion for user experience. You will be expected to take ownership beyond feature delivery, measuring impact, learning from user behaviour, and ensuring product improvements deliver meaningful outcomes for students, employers, and the wider business.
The ideal candidate will bring experience building high-engagement digital products and a passion for creating elegant user experiences for a Gen Z audience, alongside a strong interest in design, experimentation, analytics, and modern AI-enabled product development.
