**MARKETING OR MEDIA B2B SALES EXPERIENCE IS ESSENTIAL**

The role

We’re looking for a confident, commercially-minded B2B Sales Consultant to join the team at Compare Franchises.

This isn’t a role where you’ll be selling something to anyone who answers the phone. You’ll be speaking directly with franchise owners, franchisors and senior decision-makers, introducing them to Compare Franchises and showing them why listing their franchise on our growing platform makes commercial sense.

You’ll be responsible for identifying potential franchisors, making outbound calls, having meaningful conversations with decision-makers and converting those conversations into new franchise partners.

If you’re comfortable picking up the phone, handling objections and actually asking for the sale, you’ll probably enjoy this.

What you’ll be doing

Making outbound B2B calls to potential franchisors and franchise brands
Speaking with business owners, directors and senior decision-makers
Introducing Compare Franchises and explaining the benefits of joining our platform
Identifying new franchise opportunities and building a strong pipeline
Managing leads from initial contact through to conversion
Following up with prospects by phone and email
Negotiating and closing new business
Maintaining accurate CRM records and keeping your pipeline organised
Working towards individual and team sales targets
Building long-term relationships with franchise businesses
Keeping up to date with the UK franchise market and understanding what makes a franchise attractive to prospective buyers

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone with proven B2B media or marketing sales experience who is comfortable working in a target-driven environment.

You should be:

Confident speaking to senior decision-makers
Experienced in outbound sales and cold calling
Comfortable handling objections and negotiating
Commercially driven and motivated by earning potential
Persistent without being pushy
Organised and able to manage your own pipeline
Naturally competitive
Confident asking for the business
Someone who enjoys picking up the phone rather than hiding behind emails

Franchise industry experience isn't essential. If you've got solid B2B media or marketing sales experience and know how to have a commercial conversation, we'd like to hear from you.
