Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Stock Trader to join our financial services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing trades, analysing market trends, and managing investment portfolios to optimise financial returns. Responsibilities

Execute buy and sell orders across various stock exchanges in accordance with client instructions and market conditions
Analyse market data, news, and trends using Bloomberg terminals to inform trading decisions
Monitor portfolio performance continuously and make adjustments to optimise returns
Maintain detailed records of all trades executed, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
Collaborate with senior traders and analysts to develop trading strategies aligned with organisational goals
Stay informed about economic indicators, corporate earnings reports, and geopolitical events that may impact markets
Assist in developing risk management strategies to minimise potential losses
Ensure all trading activities adhere to relevant legal and compliance requirements

Qualifications

Proven experience or strong interest in financial services, particularly stock trading or investment analysis
Proficiency in Bloomberg terminal usage is highly desirable
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex market data swiftly
Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Relevant qualifications in finance, economics, or related fields are advantageous but not essential for internship candidates
