Head of Residential Sales | West Sussex

Location: West Sussex (covering the southern region of the county)
Job Type: Full Time | Permanent
Salary: £40,000 Basic | £70,000-£80,000 OTE (depending on experience)

Head of Residential Sales – Exceptional Leadership Opportunity

ProFind Property Recruitment is exclusively managing a confidential search for an established, highly respected independent estate agency in West Sussex.

Due to continued growth and internal progression, our client is seeking an experienced Head of Residential Sales to lead and develop its residential sales operation across a significant territory.

This is a senior leadership appointment suited to an accomplished estate agency professional with a proven track record of managing high-performing teams, driving business growth and delivering outstanding results.

This is not a stepping-stone role for someone looking to make their first move into senior management. We are looking for an established leader who has already demonstrated success operating at a senior level within residential estate agency.

For the right individual, this represents an opportunity to join a successful business with genuine long-term prospects, significant autonomy and the ability to influence the future direction of the company.

The Role

Reporting directly to the senior leadership team, you will be responsible for the overall performance and continued growth of the residential sales division across multiple offices.

Key responsibilities include:

Leading, motivating and developing high-performing residential sales teams.
Driving instructions, market share, revenue and profitability across the region.
Delivering consistently high levels of customer service and operational excellence.
Coaching and mentoring managers to maximise individual and team performance.
Identifying opportunities to grow market presence and increase business performance.
Building and maintaining relationships with key clients, developers, introducers and local stakeholders.
Monitoring market trends and implementing strategies to maximise commercial opportunities.
Working closely with the senior leadership team to support the continued growth of the business.

About You

To be considered, you'll need to demonstrate a strong and consistent career within residential estate agency, together with experience leading successful sales operations.

We're particularly interested in candidates who offer:

Significant residential estate agency experience, ideally within Sussex or the surrounding areas.
Previous experience as a Head of Sales, Area Director, Regional Director, Senior Branch Manager or equivalent leadership position.
A proven history of delivering strong sales performance and business growth.
Experience managing multiple offices, senior managers or large sales teams.
Excellent leadership, coaching and people development skills.
Strong commercial awareness with the ability to make sound business decisions.
An established reputation within the property industry and excellent relationship-building skills.
A stable employment history demonstrating commitment and long-term success.

This role will suit an ambitious and commercially minded leader who enjoys developing people, improving performance and making a genuine impact within a respected independent business.

Package

£40,000 basic salary
Realistic On-Target Earnings of £70,000-£80,000
