Receptionist – The Bromley Court Hotel

Join Our Front Office Team at Bromley Court Hotel

Bromley Court Hotel is seeking a professional and enthusiastic Receptionist to join our dedicated team at the largest and most established hotel in the area.

Set within two acres of beautifully landscaped gardens, Bromley Court Hotel is renowned for its elegant surroundings, exceptional food and beverage offering, and outstanding customer service. Our guests can relax in the Garden Bar or enjoy dining in our Orangery-style restaurant, all while experiencing the warm and personal service delivered by our talented team.

The Role

We are looking for a candidate with previous hotel reception experience, ideally with knowledge of the Guestline hotel management system. Most importantly, you will have a genuine passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

This position operates on a rota basis, working five days out of seven, and requires flexibility to work either of the following shifts:

Early Shift: 7:00am – 3:30pm
Middle Shift: 11.00am-19:30pm
Late Shift: 2:30pm – 11:00pm

Key Responsibilities

Welcome guests and provide a warm, professional first impression.
Manage guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately.
Handle telephone calls, emails, and guest enquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
Process reservations and amendments to maximise guest satisfaction.
Maintain accurate guest records and perform administrative tasks, including data entry and document management.
Utilise Microsoft Office applications and Emails for communication and administrative support.
Ensure the reception area remains organised, presentable, and efficient at all times.
Support the wider hotel operation with general clerical and administrative duties as required.

About You

Previous experience as a Hotel Receptionist is essential.
Experience using Guestline is highly desirable.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Professional appearance and manner.
Excellent organisational and administrative abilities.
Flexible approach to working shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
Passionate about hospitality and committed to delivering exceptional guest service.
