Job Description – Health Care Assistant
Location: Northcare Residences - Glasgow
Salary: £13.45 per hour
Hours: Full-time hours
Contract: Permanent

We are looking for compassionate and reliable Care Assistants to join our team and provide high-quality support to individuals in Northcare Residences - Glasgow. At Northcare, you are more than a care worker. You are a valued member of our longstanding team that makes the world of difference to the lives of the individuals we care for.

About the Role
As a Care Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

Providing personal care and support to residents
Assisting with washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
Supporting residents with meals and hydration
Offering companionship and emotional support
Promoting residents’ independence, dignity, and wellbeing
Assisting residents with daily activities and social engagement
Working closely with senior carers and healthcare professionals
Maintaining accurate care records and reporting concerns appropriately

What We’re Looking For

A caring, respectful, and patient approach
Good communication and teamwork skills
Reliability and professionalism
Ability to work in a fast-paced care environment
Previous care experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided
Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays where required
Right to work in the UK – please note Northcare is unable to sponsor employment of international workers
