Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Cashier/Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the friendly face that greets customers, provides excellent service, and ensures smooth transactions at the point of sale. Your enthusiasm and organizational skills will help create a welcoming environment, promote sales through upselling techniques, and maintain a well-organized sales floor. Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs in a courteous and professional manner
Operate cash registers accurately, process transactions efficiently, and handle cash, credit, or digital payments securely
Maintain knowledge of current promotions, product features, and store policies to effectively upsell items and enhance customer satisfaction
Restock shelves, organize displays, and ensure the sales floor is tidy and inviting through merchandising efforts
Provide multilingual support by communicating fluently in English to serve diverse customer needs
Manage time effectively during busy periods to minimize wait times and ensure excellent service delivery
Follow phone etiquette standards no when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely

Skills

Strong communication skills to clearly convey product information and assist customers confidently
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
Excellent organizational skills to keep the sales area neat and well-stocked
Effective time management to prioritize tasks during peak hours
Upselling abilities to recommend additional products that meet customer needs
