Full job description

Rate of pay based on candidate experience. Will be discussed further at interview.

Responsibilities:

To pro-actively manage the day-to-day restaurant and bar dining operation in the absence of the Restaurant Manager.
To manage shifts whilst on duty.
To ensure service standards are maintained.
To empower team to be able to handle all positive and negative guest feedback and report to Restaurant Manager.
To undertake to be responsible for cleanliness and presentation of the restaurant & bar
To carry out quality training and coaching in a systematic and professional manner.
To ensure company and legal standards for cleanliness are maintained within the department.
To ensure the team are correctly uniformed, in line with company standards and understand the importance of personal hygiene.
To ensure team are punctual, polite, courteous and helpful to guests and colleagues always.
To be fully conversant with the facilities, services and promotions offered by the establishment.
Passion for the hospitality industry.
Excellent product knowledge of food and drink.
Excellent organisational skills.
Team Player.
An excellent eye for detail.
A self-starter with a passion for excellence.
A confident, friendly and personable manner.
High level of discretion and trustworthiness.
Experience leading a team.
Experience within the hospitality industry.
