Full job description

The Role

We are looking for a skilled Upholsterer to join our team in Yorkshire.

This is a hands-on role focused on upholstering high-quality bed frames and headboards to a premium standard. You will be responsible for ensuring every product is finished with precision, consistency, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities Upholstery Work

Upholster Sofas, bed frames, headboards, and panels using a range of fabrics (e.g. bouclé, velvet, linen)
Measure, cut, and fit materials accurately
Apply foam, padding, and finishing layers
Ensure clean lines, symmetry, and a high-end finish

Quality & Finishing

Inspect all work to ensure it meets quality standards
Maintain consistency across all products
Identify and resolve any faults or imperfections

Production Support

Work efficiently to meet production deadlines
Assist with general workshop duties where required
Maintain a clean and organised workspace

Requirements

Proven experience in upholstery (beds, sofas, or similar)
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
Ability to work with a variety of fabrics and materials
Good understanding of upholstery tools and techniques
Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team

Desirable (Not Essential)

Experience with high-end or luxury furniture
Basic carpentry or frame assembly knowledge
Experience working in a fast-paced production environment
