Full job description

Join the team at Dean's Buddy Service! We're looking for caring, reliable and enthusiastic Relief Support Workers to provide companionship and community support to adults with learning disabilities, autism, dementia, physical disabilities and older people across Cookstown and the surrounding areas. This is a rewarding role where you'll help people live more independently, build confidence and enjoy meaningful experiences in their local community. Whether it's accompanying someone on a walk, supporting them with shopping, attending appointments, enjoying days out, or simply providing good company at home, every shift makes a genuine difference. No two days are the same, and full training, induction and ongoing support are provided. If you're compassionate, dependable and enjoy helping others, we'd love to hear from you. Key Responsibilities Provide one-to-one companionship and support. Support people to access their local community. Encourage independence and build confidence. Assist with shopping, appointments and social activities. Complete accurate visit notes using our care app. Communicate professionally with families and the management team. Follow care plans, risk assessments and company policies. What We're Looking For Caring, patient and reliable. Excellent communication skills. Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle. Willingness to work flexible hours, including mornings, afternoons, evenings and occasional weekends. Previous care experience is desirable but not essential as full training and induction are provided. Willingness to complete an Enhanced AccessNI check.
