We are recruiting for an exciting role working across the Corporate Communications team and its functions of Media, Social Media and Internal Communications to support strategic recruitment and institutional communications in UK and key international markets.
The post holder will build strong relationships across the team and wider departments to gather institutional content and stories that showcase the University’s strengths and support organisational and departmental strategic goals. This role will play a key part in ensuring accuracy of content and data that forms part of the website, external communications and information decks.
The post holder will also work on key corporate and monthly communication reports and documents and participate in team and external agency meetings as well as contribute to campaigns across the year this includes copywriting articles, features, web content and reports, such as the annual report.

About You
We are looking for a driven, proactive communications executive to join the Corporate Communications team.
Working with colleagues within our corporate communications, marketing, research, creative communications, media and internal communications teams and external agencies you will ensure that the team has access to up to accurate, shareable corporate information.
As part of the wider Corporate Communications team and the Marketing, Communications, Insight and Student Recruitment Team you will be well versed in communications coordination and delivering plans with the ability to recognise opportunities to work cross functionally.
You’ll have strong copywriting, editing and content collation skills as well as a creative approach to communications projects. You’ll have the ability to bring together complex information utilising words, visuals and data to tell compelling narratives.
Evaluation and IT skills are essential as this role will work across information decks, reports and documents in order to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and business as usual work.
You’ll have excellent interpersonal skills, enjoy meeting and presenting to people and be happy to work closely with internal and external stakeholders including students, staff and external agencies.
You’ll be a team player who is happy to provide cover and support for other colleagues.
