Equans is looking for an experienced Resident Liaison Officer to join our team in Croydon on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting residents and clients across social housing and regeneration projects, ensuring a smooth and positive customer experience throughout the delivery of improvement and maintenance works. As a Resident Liaison Officer, you’ll act as the main point of contact between residents, our site team, and project managers — helping to minimise disruption, manage expectations, and maintain strong relationships within the local community. A full UK driving license is essential for this role. <h3>Key Responsibilities</h3> <ul> <li> Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, keeping them informed of planned works, schedules, and progress. </li> <li> Work closely with site managers and supervisors to ensure residents’ needs are understood and met. </li> <li> Arrange access appointments, distribute notices, and assist in resolving any issues or complaints efficiently and professionally. </li> <li> Attend and support resident meetings, open days, and community engagement events. </li> <li> Keep accurate records of resident interactions, access arrangements, and any special requirements. </li> <li> Ensure residents’ homes are treated with care and respect during all works. </li> <li> Promote Equans’ commitment to excellent customer service and community partnership. </li> </ul> <h3>Who You Are</h3> <ul> <li> Previous experience in a Resident Liaison Officer, Customer Service, or Housing Support role (ideally within social housing, regeneration, or construction environments). </li> <li> Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust quickly. </li> <li> Organised and proactive, able to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively. </li> <li> Empathetic and patient, with a professional and approachable manner. </li> <li> Confident working independently and as part of a wider site/project team. </li> <li> Strong IT and administrative skills for managing resident data and communications. </li> <li>Full UK driving license </li> </ul> <h3>What We Offer</h3> <ul> <li> Competitive salary and benefits package </li> <li> 24 days annual leave + bank holidays </li> <li> Pension scheme and life assurance </li> <li> Employee benefits platform with discounts and wellbeing support </li> <li> Opportunities for professional development and career progression within Equans </li> </ul> <h3>Who We Are</h3> At Equans, we deliver essential services across energy, regeneration, and facilities management, supporting communities as they transition to a sustainable future.
