Job Title: Project Aconex Administrator

Location: City of London, Site-based

Reports to: Project Lead

Contract Type: Fixed Term - 10 months to 1 Year, Potential to extend

Start date: ASAP

Role Overview

We are looking for a practical and organised Administrator to join our site team. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of project documentation using the Oracle Aconex platform. This is an ideal position for someone with administrative experience in construction who wants to grow their skills in information management.

Key Responsibilities

Aconex Administration: Upload, distribute, and track drawings, specifications, technical queries (RFIs), and submittals through Aconex.
Document Logging: Maintain accurate registers for incoming and outgoing project correspondence in accordance with company protocols.
Quality Checks: Ensure documents adhere to project numbering conventions, revision codes, and formatting standards before issuing.
Workflow Management: Track review and approval workflows in Aconex to prevent bottlenecks and escalate overdue items to the project team.
Team Support: Act as the first point of contact for internal staff and external subcontractors needing assistance with Aconex navigation or uploading procedures.
Archiving & Closeout: Assist with maintaining organised digital files and preparing documentation packages for project handover.

Requirements & Qualifications

Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in a document control or project administration role within the construction industry.
System Knowledge: Hands-on experience using Aconex is essential.
IT Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and comfortable learning new digital platforms.
Attributes: Highly organised and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced site environment.

Pay: £17.50 per hour
