About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Senior Site Engineer to join our growing delivery team. This is a key role in the on-site management, coordination, and delivery of civil engineering works, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency across a range of rail and civils projects from Huddersfield to Manchester. Working closely with Project Managers, Site Managers, Subcontractors and clients, ensuring efficient delivery of projects.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

Track monitoring & setting out for roads, drainage, foundations, earthworks, piling, earthworks and associated civil engineering works in both Rail & Civils environments.
Ensuring all works are completed safely, accurately, and in accordance with project specifications and programme requirements, completing quality assurance checks throughout the works
Supervising and mentoring Site Engineers and junior engineering staff
Liaising with Site Managers, Project Managers, subcontractors, and clients to
ensure projects are delivered efficiently
Producing and maintaining accurate site records, surveys, and as-built information
Ensuring SHEQ standards and company procedures are always adhered to
Supporting the successful delivery of projects to programme, quality, and budget targets.

Qualifications

The successful Senior Site Engineer will have:

Previous experience working as a Senior Site Engineer
Strong background in Rail infrastructure, groundworks, or civil engineering projects
A valid CSCS card, PTS card and a full UK driving licence
Ability to travel to sites across the M62 corridor from Leeds to Manchester.
