Job Description:

Duties

Prepare a variety of sandwiches according to established recipes and customer preferences, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sandwich station, adhering to strict food safety guidelines at all times.
Assist in inventory management by monitoring ingredients and supplies, notifying management when stock levels are low.
Engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner, taking orders accurately and upselling additional menu items to enhance their experience.
Follow proper food handling procedures, including sanitation practices and temperature controls, to ensure health standards are upheld.
Manage time efficiently during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high-quality standards.
Support the team in opening or closing duties as needed, including cleaning and restocking workstations.

Experience

Previous experience in food preparation or working in a restaurant setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
Familiarity with food safety protocols and sanitation standards is highly desirable.
Basic math skills are essential for accurately measuring ingredients and handling cash transactions if applicable.
Experience in serving customers or working directly with guests will help you excel in this role.
Kitchen or culinary experience is a plus, demonstrating your ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong time management skills are necessary to prioritize tasks during peak hours and ensure timely service.
A proactive attitude toward upselling menu items can boost sales and enhance customer satisfaction.
