NOTSA is a vibrant independent café, deli and bar in the heart of Aston-on-Trent. We pride ourselves on serving fresh, high-quality food in a welcoming atmosphere, from busy breakfast and brunch services through to our popular evening events and pizza nights.

The Role

We're looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Sous Chef to join our growing kitchen team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about great food, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and is ready to support the Head Chef in delivering consistently high standards.

Responsibilities

Support the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen.
Prepare and cook fresh breakfast, brunch, lunch, and evening menu items.
Maintain exceptional food quality, presentation, and consistency.
Help develop seasonal dishes and menu specials.
Ensure food hygiene and health & safety standards are always met.
Assist with stock control, ordering, and minimising waste.
Train and support junior kitchen team members.
Work efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining a positive attitude.

What We're Looking For

Previous experience as a Sous Chef or experienced Chef de Partie ready to step up.
Passion for fresh, quality food.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
A reliable, hardworking, and team-focused attitude.
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
