Full job description

We are currently looking to recruit a facilities cleaning operative for our site in Kettering.

The shift pattern is: Monday-Friday 1400-2200

The main purpose of the job is to work as part of a team or individually to carry out manual cleaning of the facilities areas. You may be required to use a machine to clean, all training will be provided.

Key responsibilities

Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Adhere to all ISM and client health and safety rules and requirements
Wear any required personal protective equipment (PPE) or site-specific clothing as directed
Use of a variety of cleaning equipment and products
Vacuuming of rooms and corridors and emptying of waste bins
Sweeping and mopping floor surfaces
Report anything in need of repair or replacement
Keep designated cleaning areas and spaces clean and tidy at all times and store all cleaning materials safely
Record all cleaning tasks as directed
Maintain good relations with client staff, contractors, and visitors to the site

You will report to the Shift Supervisor / Service Delivery Manager
