Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Telehandler Operator and play a vital role in efficiently managing material handling operations in our recycling facility

As a key member of our team, you will operate a versatile telehandler — a powerful machine equipped with a telescopic boom — to move, lift, and position recycled material

Your mechanical knowledge and experience with heavy equipment will ensure smooth workflow, supporting project timelines and safety standards. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment while contributing to large-scale projects.

Responsibilities

Operate the telehandler safely and efficiently to move recycled products to a bailer
Conduct pre-operation inspections of the telehandler, checking for mechanical issues, fluid levels, and safety features before each shift
Coordinate with site supervisors and team members to understand daily material needs
Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage, inspections, and any incidents or maintenance needs
Follow all safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment for everyone on-site

Qualifications

Proven experience operating a telehandl
Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance checks
Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to safety procedures at all times
Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and supervisors
