Job Title: Residential Mental Health Key Worker
Location: Dover, Kent
Hours: Full-Time, 40 hours per week (includes weekends and bank holidays – rota-based and completed 6 weeks in advance with a supportive consideration of work & life balance)
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience + excellent overtime opportunities

What You’ll Do

You’ll be part of a team supporting residents to:

Develop independent living skills
Maintain and improve mental wellbeing
Access community activities like the gym, cinema, walking groups, or volunteering
Manage everyday tasks such as appointments, finances and social connections
Work towards personal goals and future independence

You’ll also:

Build trusting relationships with residents
Complete daily reports and other documentation which reflect peoples care and support needs
Partnership working - Liaise with family, professionals like social workers, GPs, and mental health teams
Key-work and help people on their personal goals

What We’re Looking For

Experience in care or mental health support
Creativity and solution focused
A positive, proactive and caring attitude
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Emotional resilience and a sense of humour
Ability to manage responsibilities and think on your own feet

Desirable but not essential:

Full driving licence and access to a car with business insurance
Experience working within Health And Social Care
Knowledge of autism, learning disabilities, or trauma-informed care
