Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Experienced Registered Residential Care Home Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of a vibrant care home dedicated to providing exceptional senior care. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents by ensuring high-quality, person-centered care. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, management expertise, and a deep understanding of assisted living, dementia care, and care home practices. You will be responsible for creating a warm, safe, and supportive environment where residents thrive and staff are motivated to deliver outstanding service.

Responsibilities

Lead the overall management of the care home, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and best practices in senior and dementia care.
Develop, implement, and regularly review personalized care plans tailored to each resident’s needs, including Alzheimer’s and other dementia-related conditions.
Supervise and support care staff, fostering a positive team environment through effective leadership, supervision, and ongoing training.
Oversee medication administration processes to ensure safety and accuracy in line with healthcare regulations.
Coordinate with healthcare professionals to facilitate care services, including assessments, treatments, and health monitoring.
Maintain accurate documentation related to resident care, staff schedules, incident reports, and regulatory compliance.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging feedback from residents, families, and staff to enhance service quality.

Skills

Proven experience in assisted living or Residential home environments with a strong background in senior care and dementia management.
Demonstrated leadership skills with previous supervising or management experience within a care home setting.
In-depth knowledge of care plans development and implementation for residents with complex needs such as Alzheimer’s disease.
Expertise in medication administration protocols and adherence to healthcare regulations.
Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with residents’ families, healthcare providers, and team members.
Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail in maintaining compliance documentation.
Compassionate approach combined with proactive problem-solving skills to ensure resident well-being at all times.
