Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong welding skills and mechanical knowledge, with the ability to fabricate and assemble components using various materials. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Perform welding tasks using Stick welding techniques to join metal parts.
Fabricate components according to specifications and blueprints.
Assemble metal structures and products using hand tools and power tools.
Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure adherence to standards.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Utilise basic maths skills for measurements and calculations during fabrication processes.
Collaborate with team members to improve processes and efficiency.

Qualifications

Proven experience in welding and fabrication, particularly with sheet metal.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to fabrication tasks.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality work.
A proactive approach to safety in the workplace.
