Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sewing Machine Operator to join our dynamic team.

This role can offer flexible hours to suit your needs - Hours will vary depending upon repairs required.

Repairs include Laundry Hamper Bags, Bath Robes, and Boiler Suits

Duties

Set up and operate sewing machins according to production specifications and guidelines
Inspect fabrics and finished products to ensure quality standards are met, making adjustments as needed
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety procedures are adhered to at all times
Accurately document production data, including quantities sewn and time spent on each task
Assist in inventory management by tracking fabric usage and notifying supervisors of supply needs

Skills

Proven experience operating sewing machines in a manufacturing or warehouse setting
Strong attention to detail with an eye for quality control
Ability to follow detailed instructions and work efficiently under deadlines
Basic understanding of warehouse procedures and safety protocols
Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for precise sewing tasks
Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
Flexibility to adapt to changing production needs and prioritize tasks accordingly

Pay: £12.81 per hour
