LOCATION: Street Office
HOURS: Full-time
PURPOSE: To provide efficient support to the fee earner in managing a high-volume caseload, ensuring matters progress smoothly and that clients receive an ethical, professional and high standard of service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Producing accurate transcriptions of dictation and correspondence for a fast-paced fee earner.
File opening across residential sales and purchases
Undertaking initial Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks
Producing client care letters
Collating office copies and relevant title documentation
Gathering redemption statements and other relevant information from lenders and third parties
Undertaking property and conveyancing searches as required
Producing draft client correspondence, contracts and contract packs for review
Assisting with exchanges
Acting as the first point of contact for client and third-party communications, ensuring enquiries are dealt with promptly and appropriately
Maintaining and building excellent client and third party relationships, through effective and timely communication and resolution of issues
Escalating issues where appropriate
Working on post completion matters including registrations, file closing and archiving
Ensuring the smooth operation of the company’s conveyancing case management system

Applicants should have residential conveyancing experience. They must be confident working at pace, managing a busy caseload and supporting a high-volume residential conveyancer who works extensively with dictation.
