Full job description

HSF Group manufactures a range of high-quality engineering solutions for customers across a variety of sectors. Due to continued growth, we are currently recruiting for CNC Operator’s to join our team in Bellaghy.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled, reliable and motivated individual who takes pride in delivering work to a high standard.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Reading and interpreting technical drawings to manufacture components accurately
Setting up and operating CNC press brake / tube laser machinery
Folding, profiling, cutting and processing components to the required specifications
Checking dimensions, bend angles and tolerances to maintain quality standards
Selecting the correct tooling and machine settings for each job
Carrying out grinding, deburring and finishing work where required
Operating overhead cranes, lifting equipment and hand tools safely
Inspecting completed parts to ensure they meet drawing and company requirements
Working flexibly across CNC operations as production demands require
Working closely with supervisors and production colleagues to maintain an efficient workflow

Experience and Skills Required

Applicants should have:

A minimum of 2 years’ previous experience in this field
The ability to read and understand engineering drawings
A good understanding of engineering or workshop processes
Excellent timekeeping and attendance
A strong work ethic and attention to detail
The ability to work well as part of a team and use your own initiative
