Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee and enhance our manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in production management, with a keen focus on quality control and continuous improvement. This role requires a proactive leader who can manage supply chain operations effectively while ensuring that business processes are optimised for efficiency and productivity.

Duties

Manage daily production activities to ensure targets are met while maintaining high-quality standards.
Implement and monitor quality control measures to guarantee product excellence.
Develop and refine business processes to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure production meets required specifications and timelines.
Provide training and support to production staff, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and teamwork.
Implement job rotation and delegation.

Requirements

Proven experience in a production management role within a manufacturing environment (Preferably a min of 3 years)
Strong knowledge of quality control principles and practices.
Demonstrated ability to analyse business processes and implement improvements effectively.
Mechanical knowledge relevant to production equipment and assembly processes is advantageous.
Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate teams towards achieving common goals.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience of staff schedule completion and proficient in various computer software preferable.
