Full job description

DFP Services are looking for a Bid Writer to join our exciting and enthusiastic Bid Team. Delivering planned service and maintenance across disciplines such as Fire, Security, Call Systems, Mechanical, Renewables and Electrical, DFP Services are an established local business in Durham.

Job Description

On a day-to-day basis, you’ll be required to source, collate, and write high quality tenders and proposals for the company across a range of disciplines. Adding creative flair and expertise, you’ll be able to professionally tailor tender submissions to align our service offering with our customers’ requirements.

Our ethos, communication is key, will be a vital aspect of the role and you’ll be expected to liaise with internal key personnel across our Commercial, Operational and Finance departments to gather relevant evidence.

You will be required to take ownership of each submission from start to finish in a deadline driven environment. High scoring tender submissions will be expected to include clear and tangible benefits for our customers alongside company policies and procedures. You will need the ability to write engaging case studies and method statements.

Reporting to the Bid Manager and Commercial Manager, you’ll be expected to be able to critically analyse tender documentation, lead kick-off meetings to present a storyboard and identify key evidence required for a compelling winning tender submission.

Pay: £30,000.00 per year
