Position: Mechanical Engineer
Location: Labman HQ, Stokesley, North Yorkshire
Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 (based on experience)

What You'll Do:
- Design and develop cutting-edge electro-mechanical automation systems (mechanics, optics, electronics, pneumatics, and software).

Create and adapt CAD models, schematics, and technical documentation.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve integration challenges and align to safety/quality standards.

Work directly with clients—shaping ideas, scoping improvements, and driving innovation.

Support technicians and coordinate teams to bring projects to life.
What You'll Need:
- Degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or similar).

At least 3 years proven track record in leading robotics, mechatronics, or automation projects.

Advanced expertise in CAD and simulation tools such as SolidWorks, MATLAB, or ROS, with the ability to guide teams in best practice.

Strategic problem-solver with strong critical thinking, capable of balancing technical detail with big-picture project goals.

Inspiring communicator and collaborator, skilled at bringing multidisciplinary teams and clients together to deliver results.

Proactive leader who thrives in fast-paced, innovative environments and has a track record of driving projects from concept to successful delivery.
