Job Overview

We are seeking motivated and hardworking Labour Solar Installers to join our dynamic team! In this energetic role, you will be instrumental in supporting the installation of solar energy systems, helping to drive the transition to renewable energy sources. Your hands-on skills and mechanical knowledge will ensure that each installation is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to grow within the renewable energy industry while making a positive impact on the environment.

Duties

Assist with the setup and preparation of solar panel installation sites, including site clearing and groundwork.
Operate heavy machinery such as excavators to facilitate groundwork and foundation work for solar arrays.
Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to assemble mounting structures and secure solar panels.
Support electricians and other team members by handling electrical components and ensuring proper connections.
Follow safety protocols diligently during all phases of installation to maintain a safe work environment.
Conduct routine inspections of installed components to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.
Maintain a clean and organized work site, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored.

Requirements

Prior experience with excavators or heavy machinery operation is highly preferred.
Proficiency in welding techniques and the ability to handle welding equipment safely.
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic mechanical skills.
Basic mechanical knowledge related to construction or electrical systems is advantageous.
Some electrical experience or understanding of electrical systems is beneficial but not mandatory.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift heavy materials safely.
Strong teamwork ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to safety standards.
