Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Massage Therapist to join our wellness team! In this role, you will provide professional massage therapy services designed to promote relaxation, relieve pain, and improve overall well-being for our clients. Your expertise will help create a calming environment where clients feel valued, rejuvenated, and cared for. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on people's health and happiness through skilled touch and personalized care.

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and aromatherapy massages tailored to each client's needs.
Conduct thorough client consultations to understand their health concerns, preferences, and treatment goals.
Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming treatment environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate follow-up treatments or wellness routines.
Keep detailed records of treatments provided, client progress, and any relevant health information.
Manage appointment schedules efficiently to maximize client satisfaction and clinic productivity.
Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and continuing education opportunities to enhance your skills.

Requirements

Valid state licensure or certification as a Massage Therapist.
Proven experience providing professional massage therapy services in a clinical or spa setting.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and various massage techniques.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen attentively and empathize with clients.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in client care.
Physical stamina to perform massages that require standing for extended periods and applying consistent pressure.
Nice-to-have skills include familiarity with alternative therapies such as reflexology or aromatherapy, as well as experience working with diverse client populations.
