We are looking for an experienced low loader driver to join us. Candidates must have C+E & Driver qualification card and be competent in loading and off loading various plant machinery.
Load & secure is an advantage .
We operate from Bolton, Manchester mainly around the North West but the jobs can take us anywhere in the UK carrying lots of various items including wide loads.
Monday to Friday 06:00-07:00 start time but these can be earlier and finish times can some times be late.
occasional nights away as and when required.
occasional week end work / night work as and when required (higher rate of pay)
Candidates must be able to deal with customers in a professional manner,
Complete all relevant paper work
You must be able to work well on your own as well as in a team.
A Hiab qualification would be advantageous.
Duties
- Load and unload goods from low loader & flatbed lorries, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Inspect loads for accuracy and completeness before departure.
- Operate plant machinery & material handling equipment safely.
- Maintain cleanliness of vehicle.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely deliveries and efficient operations.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing duties.
- Drive other vehicles / vans when required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in loading/unloading plant equipment.
- Familiarity with low loaders & flatbed operations.
- Valid driving licence with a clean driving record.
- Up to date Driver Qualification Card
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently.
- Physical stamina to do the job.
