Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum depending on experience
About Educ8SEN
Educ8SEN is a specialist education provider supporting children and young people with SEND, SEMH needs, anxiety based school avoidance, medical needs and other barriers to education. We work closely with Local Authorities, schools and families across England to deliver high quality one to one tuition, mentoring and alternative provision.
As our network of Local Authority frameworks continues to grow, we are looking for a highly organised Recruitment & Compliance Coordinator to join our Enfield office and play a key role in expanding and maintaining our national tutor network.
Please note: This is a fully office based position. Applicants must be able to travel to our Enfield office on a daily basis. We are not currently offering remote or hybrid working for this role.
The Role
The successful candidate will take ownership of tutor recruitment, onboarding and compliance across multiple Local Authority framework areas. You will be responsible for identifying and engaging high quality tutors, managing the safer recruitment process and ensuring all compliance records remain accurate and audit ready.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, is highly organised and takes pride in maintaining high standards of safeguarding and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment
- Source tutors, teachers, mentors and specialist education professionals across England.
- Advertise vacancies across job boards, social media and professional networks.
- Conduct candidate screening calls and interviews.
- Build and maintain tutor pipelines in priority framework areas including Hampshire, Nottinghamshire, Westmorland and Furness, Surrey and other regions.
- Develop strong relationships with tutors to ensure engagement and availability.
Compliance and Safer Recruitment
- Manage the end to end onboarding process.
- Obtain and verify DBS certificates, identity documents, qualifications, references and right to work documentation.
- Ensure all recruitment files meet safeguarding and compliance requirements.
- Maintain accurate records and compliance trackers.
- Work closely with the Designated Safeguarding Lead and management team.
- Support internal audits and compliance reviews.
Operations Support
- Maintain the tutor database and availability records.
- Support tutor matching activities where required.
- Assist in maintaining coverage across framework areas.
- Produce recruitment and compliance reports.
Business Development Support
- Identify and develop relationships with schools and other education stakeholders.
- Support efforts to generate new business opportunities.
- Represent Educ8SEN professionally when engaging with external contacts.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in recruitment, compliance, administration or education recruitment.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and relationship building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Confident using Microsoft Office and cloud-based systems.
- Professional, reliable and proactive approach.
Desirable Requirements
- Experience within education recruitment.
- Understanding of safer recruitment and safeguarding requirements.
- Knowledge of SEND, alternative provision or Local Authority education services.
