Full job description

Overview

We are looking for a proactive and organised HR Recruitment Coordinator to join our college team, supporting the recruitment, onboarding and wider HR processes. This is a great opportunity for someone with HR, recruitment or education-sector experience who enjoys working in a busy, people-focused environment and is looking to develop their career within HR. The HR Coordinator will provide a high-quality HR and recruitment administration service, while also acting as a first point of contact for managers and staff, providing support and guidance on day-to-day HR matters.

Duties

Provide first-line guidance and support to managers on a range of employment and HR matters, escalating more complex issues to the HR Business Partner where appropriate.
Promote best-practice people management and contribute to creating a positive, inclusive and supportive working environment.
Work closely with managers to ensure HR and recruitment processes, records and documentation are completed accurately, efficiently and within agreed timescales.
Coordinate interview schedules between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring clear communication and timely feedback.
Support onboarding activities by preparing necessary documentation and ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring journey.

Qualifications

Experience managing high-volume recruitment processes
Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively engage with diverse audiences across multiple channels.
Knowledge of HRIS platforms like iTrent or HRIS systems that streamline HR operations.
Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated relationship management skills to foster collaboration between candidates, hiring teams, and external vendors.
Familiarity with tools such as Salesforce or other CRM systems used in talent acquisition.
Strong HR administration and recruitment background
Education sector experience would be advantageous
